Building Across Boundaries

Dwight Edward Allen Entertainment operates at the intersection of literature, music, and storytelling. Collaboration is not a side project — it is a core pillar of everything we create.

Whether you are an independent artist, a seasoned author, a visual creative, or a podcast host with a sharp perspective, there may be a meaningful project waiting to be built between us.

Every proposal submitted here is reviewed personally. We are selective because we are committed — when we partner, we give it our full creative investment.

What to Expect

Here is exactly what happens after you submit your proposal, from receipt to decision.

Step 01 — Submission
Your Proposal Is Received

As soon as you submit, your proposal enters our review queue. No auto-rejection. Every submission is read by a human on the DEA Entertainment team, not filtered by an algorithm.

🔍
Step 02 — Review (1–5 Days)
We Review Your Work

We visit the links you provide, assess fit with current projects and release schedules, and evaluate your proposal against active creative priorities. This typically takes between one and five business days.

💬
Step 03 — Decision (5–10 Days)
You Hear Back Directly

If your proposal is a strong match, you will receive a direct email response within 5–10 business days. We do not send form rejections — if you do not hear back within 14 days, it means the timing or alignment was not right for this cycle.

🤝
Step 04 — Kickoff
We Build Together

Accepted collaborations move into a scoping conversation to align timelines, expectations, creative vision, and logistics. From there, we move quickly and communicatively to bring the project to life.

Common Questions

Yes, with context. Rather than attaching raw files, please submit links to hosted work (SoundCloud, Spotify, Amazon, Bandcamp, a press kit, etc.) along with a clear description of what you are proposing. Cold file attachments sent outside this form are not reviewed. The portal above is the correct channel.
Submitting a proposal is always free. Collaboration terms — including compensation, royalty splits, revenue sharing, or in-kind exchanges — are discussed on a project-by-project basis once mutual interest is confirmed. We do not charge upfront fees for creative partnership discussions.
Absolutely. We evaluate proposals on the strength of the idea, the quality of the existing work, and the alignment with our current creative direction — not on follower count or industry status. Some of the most compelling collaborations come from independent creators who are building with precision and purpose. If you have something real, submit it.
If we do not reach out within 14 business days, consider it a pass for this cycle — which does not mean forever. Creative timelines shift, and something that is not the right fit today may become exactly the right fit six months from now. You are welcome to resubmit if your project evolves significantly or if you have a new proposal. Declined submissions are never held against future ones.
